Spring Florals

So although it’s almost June, it certainly doesn’t feel like it here in New York. Ironically to this post, we didn’t even have Spring! But, as you can see, that didn’t stop me from dressing like it was!

When it comes to the warmer months, I love dressing up in color and fun prints. I’m not really a floral print type of gal, but if I come across a floral print that I really love (one that doesn’t look cheap or too crazy) I will buy it!

I bought this cold shoulder floral ruffle textured dress in Saks when I was in Miami. Though it was on the pricier side, it’s the only floral print that I own. I fell in love with it for a couple of reasons. I loved the shape of the dress. Though it’s not structured, I thought the ruffle and accordion pleats created a very feminine silhouette.

Another reason why I love this dress is the use of negative space with the floral detailing. Apart from the beautiful colors of the flowers, I really liked the cold shoulder detailing as it added more dimension to the dress.

Because the weather was a bit on the colder side, I paired my Just Black Denim Jean Jacket, which has the perfect amount of distress and lightness! On my feet, I’m wearing Steve Madden flatforms from Jildor Shoes and they are on sale for just $70! They are super lightweight and comfortable and I adore the metallic.

Below, I’ve linked my outfit + some of my favorite floral dresses and metallic shoes!
