I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like winter sweaters often look the same in terms of structure and cut. I always struggle finding sweaters that don’t look like every other sweater on the racks! I mentioned this dilemma in my sweater post from a couple months ago.
When I saw this sweater on SheIn, I instantly fell in love with it- not just with the style but the price too! I love its cropped feature but also its exaggerated neck which can be worn off the shoulder or as a chunky cowl neck (as seen above). This sweater also comes with a thumbhole, now I don’t know about you guys, but I love a thumbhole especially in the winter!
I’ve never got jeans from SheIn, and honestly, they are not that bad at all. After one wash, they did not stain and they are pretty stretchy and comfortable. The only thing is the button closure is a little flimsy but hey…for under $20?
Many of you have been asking me on Instagram about my experience from purchasing on SheIn and their quality. Here is my opinion:
•The quality is not the best but this obviously depends on the material of the item. I’ve scored some great pieces, such as this sweater!
•The sizing is very tricky. What I do is literally look at the sizing dimensions, and measure it against myself **THIS IS SUPER CRUCIAL**
•The pricing is super cheap, I would say the material is comparable to Forever21 but again, looking at the product reviews, if any, is also a big determinant in the quality of the piece
•Their one size products are either small or very large (based on my experience). The sweater featured here is a one-size sweater and fits me perfectly but I am also 5’2″ and petite. But again, looking at the measurements is super crucial
•I think that it’s worth purchasing pieces from their site, they have really cute stuff and you would most likely get use of the pieces for a season or two because it is fast fashion and isn’t the quality of luxury
•If you pick the right products and pair them with the right additional pieces, you can make your outfit look worth more than it actually is! My ultimate styling tip is a nice bag or a pair of shoes can make the outfit look like a hundred bucks even if you are wearing a $10 top.
