Happy Thanksgiving to all of my readers! I want to start this post off by saying how thankful I am for my supporters and followers for being their amazing selves. It really does mean everything to me! I am so thankful for everything and everyone in my life and most importantly am thankful that everyone I love and care for is healthy and happy. It’s so important to surround yourself with the best people who don’t weigh you down but rather push you up.
Now, to get away from the emotional aspect of Thanksgiving, I want to share with you one of my favorite fall looks that is so easy to transition from work to a fun night out! Not only is this look comfortable and chic, but it’s also classic and includes pieces that are so transeasonal. Take my white Cami for example; I wear it year round. In the summer with jeans or shorts, or in the fall/winter layered under jackets and/or sweaters.
I’m not really a blazer kind of girl because I feel like most make my shoulders look very wide and boxy. Because of my petite frame, I find it quite challenging to find a blazer that is fitted and doesn’t look too masculine on. When I came across this cape blazer from BCBG, I instantly fell in love because it didn’t look “masculine”, It was fun and not to corporate, and most importantly, it fit my small frame and height perfectly!
If you have the same problem as me, I highly recommend turning to BCBG for pieces that you can wear to the office and go out for drinks right after with your girls (age permitting of course!). Because I am only 5’2″, I find that their pieces really do fit my height and small frame and they have the perfect pieces for me to wear to work and still look trendy like I wasn’t just in the office!
Cami NYC is one of my absolute favorite brands for a couple of reasons. Number 1: the quality is amazing for the price its marked at. Number 2: All of their products are so classic and chic and are guaranteed to be timeless. Number 3: They are so easy to wear year round because you can wear the product by itself, or layered under a jacket or sweater in the colder weather. Last but definitely not the least, they go with everything. You can wear them with leggings, sweats, skirts, jeans, you name it. They are so easy to wear from day to night; from street style to corporate attire.
I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving break! The next time I post, will be a review of my Thanksgiving weekend getaway with Noah! Curious to see where we are going? Stay tuned to my Instastory and Snapchat starting tomorrow A.M!
