Valentine’s Day Look

I know I’m super delayed with my Valentine’s Day Look post, but better late than never right? These past two weeks have been hectic! Not only did I attend my first ever NYFW, I also started classes not too long ago and am commuting this semester which is an adjustment. To top it off, Noah came home the day before Valentine’s Day, after not seeing him since Christmas.

Finally, after getting my life and schedule organized again, I am able to share with you the looks I’ve been meaning to share for a while now! I want to start with my Valentine’s Day outfit before it becomes totally irrelevant.

I bought this For Love & Lemons dress in November at Saks downtown on sale.  I love its detailing and its unique cut. I love how it has the illusion of being see-through in the chest area, and especially the open back. I knew this dress would be perfect for a romantic night out because of its romantic and sexy silhouette and design and sleeves.

I paired this dress with my favorite suede Schutz heels from Jildor. You guys probably know by now that I’m not a heel kind of girl. Not because they are uncomfortable, I just prefer not to wear them unless I’m going out. These heels are SO comfortable, SO light and SO affordable. Take a wild guess on how much they are….now click here to see for yourself!

Lastly, because it’s still winter here, I wore my wool/cashmere blend coat from Aritzia. Being only 5’2″, it has taken me forever to find a coat like this one; I’d either drown in it or completely drown in it! I happened to stumble upon this gem on sale for 50% off. Patience is a virtue!

I’ve also been obsessing over ArtDeco Cosmetics for the past month! They sent over the lipstick featured above, along with an Angel Eyes Mascara which I use every single day. I love how it doesn’t clump and it really curls each one of your lashes making them look naturally defined and long. Even though I was sent the products for free, I would only promote those products that I have tested out myself and really enjoy. The lipstick shade that i have is 22 Nude Antique Pink and I love how it apply’s creamy and dries to look like a natural lip tint. I’d say the color lasts 4+ hours and the color you see online is what the color looks like in person.

I used to use Bobbi Brown and YSL Mascara, but I said my goodbye’s a long time ago after receiving the Angel Eyes Mascara! I want to purchase a couple of their lip gloss shades to try out and may do a giveaway of a couple of their pieces! If you’re interested, leave a comment below 🙂
