My Favorite Health Recipes Ft. Kokoluxe

So I wanted to make a blog post about my favorite healthy recipes/quick snacks to share with all of you. Whether eating healthy was on your New Year Resolutions or not, it’s always a good day to start feeding your body right. I don’t want to make it sound like I eat perfectly because I had tater totes earlier today and Chinese food from the mall which was SO GOOD. I’m not here writing to put you on a diet, to tell you that you can’t pleasure yourself with food, or anything of that matter. I am here to simply share with you some quick healthy snacks that are easy and simple to make especially on the go. Also, featured in this post, is one of my favorite hot chocolate brands…that’s right HOT CHOCOLATE that is actually not bad for you.

 

  1. Avocado Egg Salad and Salmon Sandwich

This makes for the best quick breakfast or lunch. It’s under 300 calories and is packed with healthy fats.

2. Blueberry Yogurt Protein Bites

Prepare these overnight and have 2 or 3 to start your day. Antioxidants=√ Probiotics=√ Deliciousness=√

3. Buffalo Quinoa Bites

This does not even need an explanation. This takes about 30 minutes to make and makes for a delicious Superbowl dish.

4. Kokoluxe: Organic Drinking Chocolate

5. Grilled Cheese with Avocado and Heirloom Tomato

This was probably my lunch every other day over the Winter Break. Nothing is better than melted cheese over a bed of avocado.

6. Peanut Butter Banana Quesadilla

Honestly, if you want something sweet but are trying to restrict yourself to the amount of sugar you intake, this is the BEST energizer and boost of protein. Easy to make, 4 ingredients, done.

7.Meat and Cheese Cucumber Sandwich

This makes for a perfect proportional quick snack. The cucumber substitutes for the bread allowing for a crunchy, refreshing and light taste.

8. Strawberry Yogurt Bark

I’ll take 7 please. Super easy to make, refreshing, healthy, what else do you need? I like to make this with low fat Vanilla yogurt to make it sweet and enjoy it as dessert.

9. Homemade Sweet Potato Chips

One simple ingredient, yet so amazingly delicious when baked to the perfect crisp. I love anything salty and crispy and this definitely satisfies those cravings but in a healthier way.

10. Detox Yo’ Self

If you aren’t a fan of water, which surprisingly a lot of people aren’t, than this is the best way to enjoy your hydration. Detox waters are so fun to make and look so pretty (insta worthy). You can mix any fruit and veggie you want. This is the perfect way to flush out your system and really cleanse it.
